Very simple to find Omotesando from Shinjuku, Japan.
Just take Yamanote line two stations to Harajuku.

Exit from the main exit of Harajuku station, cross the street, walk 10 m to the right and you are there.
To get to Prada, LV, Dior, Chanel, Omotesando Hills, etc, just walk up the tree lined avenue that is Omotesando.
Prada is all the way at the top of the hill, and across Aoyama Dori about 2 blocks from the intersection. In that area you will also find all the Japanese designers like Miyake, Yamamoto, and CDG. The back streets in this area have lots of great shops if you hunt for them.
